The business has been trading for many years in the hands of the same owners who are now planning their retirement. The site had outline planning permission for the demolition of the current workshop and the creation of six townhouses. However, the vendors were pleased to find a buyer who will continue to operate the car MOT and servicing centre.
Eastbourne Tyre Co, another long-established family business who will be celebrating their centenary in 2025, have acquired Westgate to run alongside their existing premises in Fort Road, with MOT and servicing to be carried out at the Stanstead Road premises.
We are sure the new owners will continue to provide Westgate customers with the high levels of customer service and value they have grown to expect.
