• Keys for Eastbourne Estate Agent Handed on to New Owner

  • This week brings exciting news as the long trading Eastbourne Estate Agency, Reid+Dean, has been acquired by businessman Roger Cotton.  Roger, who is also Director of GPS Business Sales, has purchased the firm to offer a truly multi-faceted property service to clients across the region.  Between the two companies they can now offer:

    • Residential Sales & Lettings
    • Commercial Sales & Lettings
    • Business Sales & Consultancy

     

    Whilst also using the team’s breadth of sector knowledge to offer clients informal advice as well as professional services.

    New owner Roger was very excited to announce the acquisition.  He commented “Reid+Dean have been trading in Eastbourne for many years now and have built a recognisable name with loyal clientele.  I am very pleased to be able to take the company on its next stage and work with its fantastic team. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Mike a happy and relaxing retirement.”

    The Eastbourne based GPS team will be shortly relocating their office from 16 Gildredge Road to the Reid+Dean office at 43-45 Cornfield Road.  Reid+Dean’s current experienced team will of course continue working with their clients from these premises whilst being joined by the GPS team.  One of which is a former colleague, Luke Shevels, who will return as Agency Manager across the two companies.

    Reid+Dean was setup by Michael Reid and Lynda Dean in 1999, originally as a commercial Estate Agency but soon branched into the residential as clients requested the respected pair to sell or let their homes.  They were based in South Street for many years before moving into their current offices in Cornfield Road 6 years ago.

    GPS is a business sales specialist with offices across the region, including North & Central London, Essex and Sussex & Kent, which is the company’s headquarters.  They assist a wide variety of business owners in securing buyers, for sectors including Care Homes, Day Care Nurseries, Professional Practices, Restaurants and Hotels & Guest Houses.  With the latter recently seen in Eastbourne with the successful sale of The Waterside Hotel.
