GPS-Direct are delighted to announce the sale of Chelwood Corner Nursing Home in the Ashdown Forest. A former Manor House dating to 1870, the property has been purchased with the intention of converting the building back into a family home.
With regulations tightening with regards to care home premises and the building no longer compliant, this sale proved to be the ideal way to safeguard this historic property’s future.
We wish the former care home owners, Mr and Mrs Foroudy, a long and happy retirement (having run the business for over 20 years) and the new owners, the best of luck with their conversion and hope that the property will prove to be a happy home.
