The Channel View Hotel in Royal Parade has a new name and new owners.
It’s been bought by Barbara and Colin Cameron from Tonbridge in Kent who are going to re name it “Sea View”.
Barbara says “I’ve spent the last 19 years working as a design manager for a mail order company and wanted the opportunity to start up a business. I am very excited about owning a guesthouse on Eastbournes famous seafront. Extensive refurbishment plans for the property are now underway including a brand new name”.
After being with a number of different estate agents The Channel View Hotel was sold by local company GPS- Direct which is fast gaining a reputation for getting results when it comes to selling local businesses.
Its Director is Roger Cotton,”It is encouraging to complete the sale of another landmark Guesthouse .It leaves us needing similar properties for the growing number of people opting out of corporate life. Ignore the news because now really is a good time to sell”.
The Channel View was sold by Sandra Morris who is now touring Venice before settling back in Eastbourne.
